Croatian startup Hypefy AI has raised €6.3M ($7.2M) in a Series A round led by AYMO Ventures — a Croatian VC fund backed by the European Investment Fund and the Croatian Bank for Reconstruction and Development — with participation from existing investors Interactive Venture Partners, Oktogon Ventures, and Euroventures.
The Series A round marks the company's next growth stage after spending the past year expanding its customer base and refining its AI platform for enterprise influencer campaigns. The investment comes just over a year after its €1.5M ($1.75M) seed round and will further support its international expansion and continued development of AI-powered influencer campaign automation.
Landing global brands and millions of influencer impressions
Founded in 2021 by longtime friends Stjepan Zelić (CEO), Davor Šibenik, and Filip Špiranec, Hypefy AI has developed an AI platform that automates the entire influencer marketing workflow. From identifying the right creators and handling negotiations to onboarding, content review, reporting, and payments, the platform takes over the operational side of campaign management, while brands retain control over briefs, budgets, and final approvals.
The platform allows brands and agencies to launch influencer campaigns from a single prompt, with AI handling creator discovery, outreach, pricing, contracts, campaign execution, reporting, and billing.
Its customer base includes global brands such as NIVEA, Unilever, ABOUT YOU, Philips, PepsiCo, McDonald's, and Samsung. According to the company, the platform is now used by thousands of businesses across 43 countries and has generated more than 700 million influencer impressions.
Explaining the idea behind the platform, CEO Stjepan Zelić said the company was built to eliminate the operational burden of influencer marketing while leaving strategic decisions in the hands of brands.
"We built Hypefy so a brand can describe what it wants to achieve, stay in control of the key decisions, and let AI manage everything operational."
— said Stjepan Zelić, CEO of Hypefy AI.
Expanding not only the markets, but the team
The new funding will also be used to further develop the platform, double the team from around 50 to 100 employees over the next one to two years, and accelerate international expansion. The company plans to hire engineers, creatives, and storytellers while strengthening its presence in key markets, including Germany, the UK, and the US.
Beyond expanding its team and product capabilities, Hypefy AI is also preparing for a broader international push. Alongside strengthening its presence in Germany, the UK, and the US, the company plans to continue expanding its commercial and engineering operations across Europe and North America.
Speaking about the company's global ambitions, Zelić said Hypefy AI had been built with international campaigns in mind from the very beginning.
"We started from Croatia, outside the usual AI and adtech hubs, but from day one we built for global campaigns. This investment helps us scale to a category-defining technology in fully managed creator marketing."
