As generational transitions, artificial intelligence and shifting investment markets reshape private wealth, family enterprises face a critical question: how can they preserve their legacy while continuing to evolve?
This will be the focus of the Dubai Family Wealth Summit, taking place on November 5, 2026, at Madinat Jumeirah in Dubai.
Organized by the DIFC Family Wealth Centre, the invitation-only event will gather family business owners, founders, chairpersons, family office principals, ultra-high-net-worth individuals, C-suite executives and next-generation successors. Global experts, policymakers and industry leaders will also join the discussions.
Legacy meets innovation
The summit’s program will examine four interconnected areas: Legacy & Governance, Wealth & Investment, Innovation & Future Assets, and Responsible Capital & Resilience.
An opening session on Family Business Continuity & Legacy will explore succession planning, leadership readiness and the balance between preserving family values and enabling future growth.
Technology will take center stage during The AI-Native Family Leader, which will examine how family enterprises can use real-time insights and integrate AI into their operations and decision-making. The conversation will look beyond individual tools to consider how AI may reshape leadership, governance and long-term business strategy.
Investing in a changing world
The session Outlook: Future-Focused Investing will focus on portfolio construction in a multipolar world. Discussions will cover alternative assets, private markets, luxury investments, private credit, secondaries and hedge funds.
These topics reflect a broader shift in how families approach wealth preservation. According to the organizers, family businesses contribute 70% of global GDP, employ 60% of the global workforce and are projected to generate USD 29 trillion in global revenue by 2030.
The agenda will also address the role of the next generation. Legacy to Leadership: Empowering the Next Generation will explore the move from heir to decision-maker, alongside strategic philanthropy, ESG, impact investing and the modernization of family enterprises.
A private setting for meaningful exchange
Beyond the main-stage sessions, the summit will offer targeted workshops, roundtables, breakout discussions and a curated exhibition space for the modern family office.
The invitation-only format is designed to encourage candid peer exchange and help participants build long-term relationships with other family wealth leaders navigating similar questions around ownership, governance and intergenerational responsibility.
Launched in 2023, the DIFC Family Wealth Centre supports family businesses and ultra-high-net-worth individuals with succession planning, governance, education and access to a wider ecosystem of advisers and financial institutions.
