Sloneek, cloud-based HR and workforce management platform, secured oversubscribed $6M (€5.18M) Series A round led by Orbit Capital and Venture to Future Fund.

The European HR software market was worth more than $4.8 billion last year, yet much of it remains fragmented across dozens of disconnected tools. HR teams still spend significant time moving information between systems, updating records manually and navigating siloed data. Sloneek believes the next step is to replace that complexity with a single AI-powered platform, where tasks can be executed through a simple chat prompt or voice command.

The funding round, led by Orbit Capital and Venture to Future Fund, was oversubscribed, exceeding its original target. The round represents the company's largest to date, following a €350,000 pre-seed in 2020, a €1 million seed in 2022, and a €3.6 million raise in 2024.

For Orbit Capital, one of Sloneek's strongest assets was its ability to quickly bring AI-driven features to market while keeping growth sustainable.

"Sloneek has built a digital product deeply rooted in the SME environment, often becoming the first company-wide system for its customers. What stood out to us was the speed and efficiency with which the company is able to ship AI-powered tools, combined with strong cost discipline and commercial traction. Sloneek was therefore a compelling candidate for venture debt funding,", said Vít Javůrek of Orbit Capital.

According to Filip Lukáč, CEO and co-founder of Sloneek, the company was looking for an investor that understood the realities of building a global B2B SaaS business.

,,Throughout the entire process, Orbit Capital demonstrated that they think exactly the way we do. That was the deciding factor for us.
And the fact that our round was oversubscribed with follow-on participation is really just a nice bonus — and proof that our team is executing well.", said
Filip Lukáč, CEO and co-founder of Sloneek:

With 500+ companies across 25 countries

Founded in 2019, Sloneek is a Czech-Slovak HR software company headquartered in Prague. The platform helps businesses manage the entire employee lifecycle, from recruitment and onboarding to attendance tracking, performance management and offboarding.

Sloneek was among the first HR software companies in Europe to integrate generative AI directly into its platform, a move the company says accelerated both customer adoption and international expansion. The company built an agent with the aim to execute tasks more effectively.

Today, Sloneek serves more than 500 companies across 25 countries, supporting HR operations for roughly 50,000 employees. The company reported annual recurring revenue (ARR) of €2.5 million, having more than doubled year-over-year. Its customer base includes Grant Thornton, MAN, WPP Media and Twisto.

From HR software to AI-powered workflows

The company's flagship product, Sloneek Intelligence, connects employee data and HR workflows into a single platform that can be operated through voice or chat commands.

According to the company, the feature can automate up to 90% of routine HR tasks through an AI-powered assistant. Users can interact with the platform through voice or chat commands rather than navigating traditional software menus. It also provides HR teams with a more comprehensive view of the organisation, bringing together data on employees, teams and workforce performance.

CEO Filip Lukáč sees this as only the beginning. "In a few years, no one will think of Sloneek as an application — they will think of it as a partner wherever it is needed," he said.

Looking ahead, Sloneek wants to extend its platform beyond HR by integrating with systems used across finance, marketing and other departments. The company hopes this will make Sloneek a more integrated part of day-to-day business operations rather than simply another HR tool.
