Slovakia's startup funding activity remained relatively modest in the first half of 2026, with the largest disclosed round reaching €2.5 million. While deal sizes were smaller than in some neighboring CEE ecosystems, the country's startups continued to attract early-stage backing across a diverse range of sectors, from procurement and fintech to edtech, SaaS, and adtech. The funding landscape also shows the continued role of local investors, increasingly joined by international funds supporting Slovak founders.

Below, you'll find the top funding rounds tracked in H1 2026 for companies that are founded in, based in, or have a Slovakian founder at the helm. You can explore the rest of the Central and Eastern Europe H1 2026 mappings here.
