Now in its 5th milestone edition, the AI Tech Summit Skopje 2026 has established itself as the leading AI gathering in the Western Balkans and Southeast Europe. The conference focuses on bridging regional innovation with the global tech ecosystem, moving past pure hype to address the practical, ethical, and scalable implementation of artificial intelligence.

The 2026 edition carries a special significance: it honours the legacy of its founder, the late Filip Avramchev, whose vision was to put Skopje on the map as a regional AI hub where technology serves people and drives lasting progress.

Key Pillars & Tracks

The program is structured around two central pillars, alongside a hands-on student competition:

  • The Tech Pillar: Focuses on digital infrastructure, platform engineering, data centers, and technical systems required to integrate, scale, and support modern AI models within existing enterprises.
  • The AI Pillar: Delves into real-world applications, applied research, governance, ethics, and practical case studies showing how AI is reshaping industries and workflows across Europe and beyond.
  • AI Student Hackathon (Sept 18–23): Bringing together high school and university teams to solve a real-world AI challenge using OpenAI tools and guidance from industry mentors. The top 3 finalist teams will present live on the Main Stage on September 23.
