[Darko Todorovic](https://www.linkedin.com/in/darko-todorovic-b8079826/?originalSubdomain=rs&ref=therecursive.com) is VP of Engineering and Delivery at [the software company HTEC Group](https://htecgroup.com/?ref=therecursive.com).

Prior to that, Darko was in charge of [R&D](https://www.therecursive.com/how-digital-serbia-is-boosting-tech-talent-in-the-country/), leading the development center of the company HTEC in Niš.

Darko is a Ph.D. candidate in the field of Robotics at the University of Niš, where he was the head of the Robotics Laboratory and thought at the Department of Control Systems.

In his conversation with Irina, Darko shares how his science education (at Petnica Science Center) and early exposure to different scientific areas have influenced his career path in the tech world and [at the HTEC group](https://www.therecursive.com/top-it-companies-in-serbia-2022/).
