Bulgarian enterprise infrastructure startup [Tiger Technology](https://www.therecursive.com/bulgarian-volleyball-star-matey-kaziyski-investment-in-tiger-technology/) has secured a **€8.8 million** ($10 million) **Series A** funding round to accelerate its international expansion and further develop its hybrid cloud data management platform for enterprise customers.

The round was led by **TCEE Fund IV**, advised by **3TS Capital Partners**, with participation from **TDJ**, **Endeavor Catalyst**, **Impetus**, and existing investors including **MFG Invest** and **Dimitar Ratchev**.

The fresh capital will support the company's expansion across the **US, Europe, and the Middle East**, while funding further product development and the growth of its sales and partner ecosystem.

> "This investment is an important validation of the technology, customer trust and international business our team has built," said **Iravan Hira, CEO of Tiger Technology**. "It gives us the resources to accelerate our global expansion, amplify our partnerships with leading cloud and technology platforms, and bring Tiger Technology's always-on, AI-ready data infrastructure to many more companies operating in mission-critical environments."

## Building hybrid infrastructure for AI

Founded in Bulgaria, Tiger Technology develops software that helps enterprises manage data across on-premises, cloud, and edge environments without disrupting existing operations. Its flagship platform, **Tiger Bridge**, enables organizations to seamlessly access and move data between storage environments while preserving existing infrastructure.

The company says its technology addresses a growing challenge for enterprises adopting AI. According to Tiger Technology, more than **40% of enterprise data remains stored on-premises**, around **80% is unstructured**, and more than half is considered "dark data" that is never analyzed or used. As organizations increasingly deploy AI systems that rely on accessible, high-quality data, hybrid data infrastructure has become a strategic priority.

The startup estimates the global hybrid storage market will reach **$29.3 billion by 2030**, driven by enterprise AI adoption, growing volumes of unstructured data, and increasing requirements around security and data sovereignty.

### Strategic partnerships and global expansion

As part of its growth strategy, Tiger Technology plans to deepen partnerships with major hyperscale cloud providers. Earlier this year, **Amazon Web Services (AWS)** named the company a **Rising Star Partner of 2025**, recognizing its work in helping enterprises migrate and manage large-scale file infrastructures in hybrid cloud environments.

> "Many years ago, we made a bet that felt contrarian at the time," said **Alexander Lefterov, Founder and CTO of Tiger Technology**. "The industry was drawing a hard line between cloud and on-premises, but we believed enterprises would need a transparent bridge between the two. Adoption of AI, always-on data access and an increasing threat landscape are significant drivers for our solutions and our growth."

Today, the company says it manages **more than 100 petabytes of enterprise data** across sectors including transportation, media, construction, and government. Recent customer deployments have delivered up to a **10x improvement in file restore speeds** during multi-petabyte cloud migrations, reduced on-premises storage requirements by up to **90%**, and enabled organizations to unlock years of historical data for AI analysis.

## Investors back enterprise AI infrastructure opportunity

For investors, the company's positioning at the intersection of hybrid cloud infrastructure and enterprise AI was a key factor behind the investment.

> "Tiger Technology stood out through a combination of unique technical breakthroughs in petabyte-level hybrid storage, mission-critical customer deployments, and a clear market opportunity driven by AI adoption, data security and sovereignty," said **Sever Totia, Partner at 3TS Capital Partners**.

**Momchil Vassilev, Managing Director of Endeavor Bulgaria**, added that the company represents the type of globally ambitious deep tech business the organization aims to support, combining Bulgarian engineering talent with international growth ambitions.
